I have installed and working on Fedora 10 linux. It is beautiful. It is having more features than windows xp. Look is fantastic. It is a open source. No need to pay for using the OS. There are lot of great mind games available which is using artificial intelligence technique. If you already using then how you felt about fedora or any linux distors? If not try their Live versions.

Great!!! But I always Like to use Mac OS X leopard, after I use mac os x then I never looked back. SO, you know my type. Love to be a mac user...

There is no comparison between Mac and PC. Mac systems are one generation ahead of our PC. But the problem in MAC is it is not so popular as that of PC. Hence applications are less in MAC OS. Also initial cost is more. Apart from that MAC is wonderful.

I am not having much idea on MAC systems. Just for my knowledge i am asking. How Xp or Vista works on MAC systems? Is that wonderful effects of leopard os are there in Windows? How is the consistency and performance?

Yeah, you are totally right about it. But mac run windows, so you get best of the both world. I never had any problem with softwares, almost every software alternative is available.. but the interesting thing, which I have, that I use 4 operating system is my macbook.
1. Leopard
2. Windows Xp ( through Parallel)
3 Windows vista ( bootcamp)
4. Ubunto
I got the best of 4 of the worlds and I am quite happy. Just little problem, you need bigger hard disk

Yes and no both. By default fedora package doesn't contain fly support. However you can download vlc player or real player or mplayer to play fly. All of these are free. You can download and enjoy your time on Fedora.

Hi frnds,
Know in my computer is working a Windows Xp service pack 2 operating system.
Windows Xp is good and nice operating system.Know 2008 version Xp operating system also came.One week ago i installed in my computer is Linux fedora a new version of 2009 year.
Best OS were
Windows Xp
windows 98
windows 2000
linux os
redhat linux
fedora linux
ubantu.

Thank you for the information. I have not used linux. I am using window xp and window vista. Most of time i work on internet and internet works fast on window vista operating system. Have you worked in internet in Fedora 10 linux ? I also will use fedora 10 linux .

Now i am on Fedora itself. It is wonderful. But keep your windows in other partition install fedora or use fedora live cd. Only problem is you will not be able to voice chat with your friends in fedora. They have thier own messenger which you can use for text chat. You can use that messenger for yahoo,gmail and msn and many more. You will enjoy working in fedora.

There are basi different of file system. you are not able to open or install windows base software and games. and if you want to use any linux flavour you must have some Idea and knowledge about linux operating system.
