Whats a good site to get free guitar tabs from?

www.ultimate-guitar.com is the site where I get all the tabs from,it's cool got loads of stuff,chords,lyrics,everything!!!

I second http://www.ultimate-guitar.com They have a HUGE array of tabs, and people can comment and post multiple versions to improve the tabs. Also, if you don't know a chord, you can just mouse over it, and a diagram of the chord appears.

The one I used most recently was www.guitarmasta.net. A huge selection of bands and songs available, the only downside is that the lines run into each other, so what I do is put it in a notepad file and separate it myself. I've also used www.ultimate-guitar.com and www.guitarboard.com. (although the latter of the two didn't have a very big selection) Please do tell your son, that while there is a lot of great stuff available, the quality might be variable, i.e. the tabs are put on by unpaid amateurs - some are really good, but some might not be hundred per cent accurate. Some people may have developed their own versions. Having said that, guitar tabs are a brilliant online resource and I still wish I had them when I was learning to play guitar.
