I was reading a discussion about Rush Limbaugh, and I responded {jokingly} with: "who is Rus Limbaugh?" I went back today just to see if there was a response to my question, and the post had been deleted, saying I had violated a rule/whatever. What - we can't ask a brief question? It would be helpful if the admins would at least let one know what they did wrong. How else do we learn? Yes, I read the guidelines - but who can remeber all of them?

The response of yours to the discussion about Rush Limbaugh could have been deleted not only because of mylot admin but also because of the discussion starter or any number of the responders to the discussion. The question, brief, could have also been taken as sarcasm.

do you mean classy cat that, it was only your posted response to the discussion that was deleted? that the discussion is still there minus your posted query response? for my part, your query response must have been a valid entry. because if you get a response from the originator of the discussion, you can always post a follow up on that, right, classycat? actually, i have already posted some query responses to some discussions around here and they do not get deleted. maybe, it was because yours was a short, short query. yet, i still believe that it is a valid one. that is, if you are truly interested to know who rush limbaugh is. neither do i know the guy at all.
