FACTS ABOUT BANANA: Is the (only) fruit that for some people can work fatting because they contain a lot of starch (more starch than sugar). Those people shouldn't eat too many bananas a day; Eat at least one banana a day, they are said to contain everything a human needs and they contain all the 8 amino-acids our body cannot produce itself. For more see the energy in fruit. Bananas are a good source of fiber, potassium and vitamin C; FACTS ABOUT APPLE: A popular saying about apples is that apples combine the best attributes of something old and something new. A number of components in apples, have been found in studies to lower blood cholesterol with a reduced risk of ischemic heart disease, stroke, prostrate cancer, type II diabetes and asthma. A new study whose findings have been published in the Journal of Alzheimer?s Disease is sure to bring cheers for people suffering from this strange disease. * Green Apples - Good for strong bones and teeth, aids in vision, anti cancer properties. * Yellow Apples - Good for heart and eyes, immune system, reduce risk of some cancers. * Red Apples - Good for heart, Memory function, lower risk of some cancers and to maintain urinary tract health.

It's difficult to say, because I love both. I would definitely have to say banana though, because it has more potassium, which is good for you and helps prevent charlie horses (which hurt very badly).

Banana commercials state that bananas are quite possibly the worlds perfect food. I do not know if it is true but I haven't seen an apple commercial state that. Then again an apple a day can keep the doctor away so they must be good as well. Personally I just like bananas more. They seem easier to eat to me. I am not sure of the exact nutritional value of each but I guess you really can't go wrong with either one.

My favorite out of those two would be a banana. It's high in potassium so it's really good for your joints, if you're planning on running for one of your exercises. Apples are good too, they're just not one of my favorite fruits, unless they are very fresh and no marks on them.
