Short for Domain Name System (or Service or Server)an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses.Because domain names are alphabetic, they're easier to remember. The Internet however, is really based on IP addresses.Every time you use a domain name, therefore, a DNS service must translatethe name into the corresponding IP address. For example, the domain name www.example.com might translate to 198.105.232.4. The DNS system is, in fact, its own network. If one DNS server doesn't know how to translate a particular domain name,it asks another one, and so on, until the correct IP address is returned. Instead of registering the Free Domain name You can better register the Paid Domain name, that is professional than Free Domain name in free Domain name it consists Sub-Domain name so it's not professional. So paid Domain name is best one...You can register the Domain name at http://www.whoisxy.com/register-domains.aspx and they provide Free privacy and # Free easy-to-use domain manager! # Select from a large inventory of premium names! # Free easy to use DNS! You can also know the Domain name to ip-address and Ip-address to Domain name and Whois Details,DNS Query there...

For the free sub-domain you do not need to buy it, because you only add the name what you want while its follow domain name of which was provided. Meanwhile, if you want to use your own domain name, you must register first. One of the places to register domain in here www.register.com Or you could look for the place of the registration of the available domain in your country.

Domain Name System (DNS) is used to identify computers on the internet. It gives a name to every computer. Network resources are identified by numeric IP addresses, but these IP addresses are difficult for network users to remember. The DNS database contains records that map user-friendly alphanumeric names for network resources to the IP address used by those resources for communication. In this way, DNS acts as a mnemonic device, making network resources easier to remember for network users.
