I don't do that but I remember my friend from school, she used to do it a lot and her pens were chewed and broken from her teeth biting them. I wonder if that made her to relax? Or think better?

There are times when I chew on my pens and pencils, mainly when I get nervous about something. When I am trying to think something threw and decide what I am going to do, then I chew my pens to help me focus on something even if it was chewing.
