I am a registered cardiac sonographer - 2003. Since graduating in 2003, as valedictorian. I've had only 6 wks. of post externship work in my profession. This lapse of 3 years was due to family obligations brought on by illness. Now that I'm ready to return to the field it's obivious I need to refresh my skills. I'm now in Temecula, Ca. Riverside county. My question is how to go about either getting into a extern program or as a volunteer echo tech at a local hospital?
