Briefs, boxers or bikini underwear?

I personally prefer the bikini style underwear for myself. Any way, I like the lesser feel for the bikini style underwear on me.
For my wife, I like the sexy bikini underwear for obvious reasons. She bought me some boxers, so I think that is her preference on me. She likes for me to wear the boxers. I'm not sure why. I have my ideas why, but I won't say here.
What are your preferences and why?
What about for your significant other?

we go for boxers because they are the most comfortable.

I prefer boxers myself and I am pretty sure my girlfriend does too on me that is. I prefer things on my girlfriend for obvious reasons ;-) and I do not know what she prefers on herself. as long as it is comfortable though I will wear anything... or nothing.

I personally wear boxers and that's all that I've ever really worn. Boxers a pretty comfortable and I've tried briefs and they're not all that special. Bikini underwear I haven't tried either and I'm not quite sure what it would feel like to wear those around.
