Certainly. What we are witnessing is the emergence of a newer, tougher breed of players. The striking feature is that they've lost the fear of who the opposition is and never seem to panic in crux situations. Though Dhoni is not as good a batsman as he is made out to be but his captaincy and cool are remarkable and maturing with every game. However, it must also be considered that teams like Australia and Sri Lanka who dominated the cricket scene until recently have lost their edge with their star players leaving the scene. When all is said and done, I'll for the moment, put all my money in my team. :-)

Ya although srilanka has made a good start with 102 for 2 in 16 i feel India is going to win this match easily.. All thanks to stroke full 150 from gambhir and a superb 94 from Indian captain..The greatest strength of the present Indian team is that they are not dependent on a single player to perform like a few years ago when we were dependent on sachin and saurav to perform every match... Hope they will become no.1 team after this series.
