Dont tell them just ask them whether it is right or not?
After all you are like this just because of them. Don't leave them and hurt them instead take their permission.

I don't thnink I would say anything to my parents. Parents are very smart when it comes to their children, they usually can pick up on things like this and if they want to know they will ask you. If they are happy not knowing I would respect that and keep this to myself. :)
