Mylot should have a bonus for a certain amount of posts

Hello jambi462! I would love your opinion about it. But as what the first respondent said, if mylot would do it, mylot then would probably turned out into a scam like those other paying sites because they can't pay their members. Imagine how many members here and so if mylot will give bonus to each one of us, they can't really sustain it.

I actually like their current system. Once you reach so many posts, you can start submitting pictures in your responses! And once you reach so many posts, you can use emoticons in your posts! And once you reach so many posts, you can copy and paste! I think that is just as a powerful of an incentive as a couple of cents! Maybe if they gave you $100 for reaching so many posts, I'd think differently!

I honestly think that myLot would be foolish to give out bonuses to each member for every 100 posts..thats a LOT of money if you really do the math...I think one of the reasons Mylot has been around as long as it has and can pay the members on time every time is BECAUSE its not a quick earning site....If they were to offer up something like that this place would go under very quickly

I think that would be great but if your going to do the math, mylot will be forced to pay thousands of money to its members..and if that happens, mylot might close down.. i don't want that to happen.. so i'd rather spend more time here, work harder in order to achieve my mylot goals.. mylot is the best forum site i've seen so far and i couldn't afford to lose it..

I agree with the idea of a bonus or at least an incentive after you reach a certain level.Ideally it would be nice if members got to earn a little more per post after they reach a 1000 post and then may be at the next level of 3000 posts and so on- strictly my opinion

They would go bankrupt pretty quickly if they started handing out money left right and center. So I think it's not an extremely good idea, but it would be really nice if we could get a little bit of a reward for all our hard work and the time we spend on here, even if it's because we enjoy it so much. But of course, it's not a quick-paying site, and that's what makes myLot good.

That would be a god idea but I don't think mylot would implement that considering the number of members that they have here. I think they have more than 10,000 member worldwide and if they give that bonus of, say 10 cents, that would be $.10 x 10,000 = $1000. And that would be what, every month? But, I'd really like that should it happen. Oh, i just saw at the bottom of the screen that the mylot population is 160,380. So, we need to add more zeros to that $1000. The more it becomes bleak.

Of course I agree with you. As you can see, I already have lots of posts here:) It will be quite nice if I can have a bonus because of it. I hope Mylot admin will adopt your suggestion:) I love China

I have to agree with ravenladyJ on this one. It'll be great if they could give us a bonus...but it'll endanger myLot. Just keep on posting and try to get some referrals so that you could earn faster here.

I don't think that should happen. I like mylot and I find a lot of good topic of conversation here but there are a lot of people who just post stupid stuff (at least in my opinion) just to have posts and make money. Who cares if you eat pop tarts for breakfast or if you went to the mall today, unless there is a point you are trying to make that would be of interest to others or become a good point to discuss. Giving out bonuses for so many posts would just clutter the board with unintelligent posts.

hello jambi i totally agree with you on that idea. that would be awesome if us members got a bonus for posting so many discussions each day and/or also respond to so many of them also. but Mylot would probably never do anything like that because they wouldn't want the quality of everybody's post's to disappear or worsen and therefore in my opinion, i do not see Mylot ever giving us a bonus of any kind. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

I'd love to have a bonus, but for every 100 posts might put myLot out of pocket. Maybe say for the first 500 quality posts and we could myLot admin decide what qualifies as quality posts. After the first 500, maybe again for 1500, 3000 perhaps? This would mean the loyal users on here are given bonuses rather than people who use the site poorly in order to try and make as much money as they can

I don't agree with this as it would fuel people to start posts and answer posts with one worded answers. The problem with this is that mylot would become ridden with nothing but rubbish. If you keep it the way it is it gives members incentive to post but not try to reach certain milestones so they can earn another cent. I like what they have in place now actually. As you post more you get bonuses in terms of what you the user is limited to. IE you can't cut and paste if your below 500 and I know there's other ones but i can't think of them at the moment. The bonuses lie in getting money to post to begin with. That to me is amazing in itself.

I am just happy that mylot doesn't promise a whole lot and deliver just a little or none at all. I see stuff all the time where you can do nothing and make millions if that were true I'd have been a millioniare years ago. I get to have fun here meet interesting folk and make a little change at the same time. I am a happy mylotter.

I think that that's a good idea but like other people on this discussion said, it would easily be prone to abuse and lower the quality of posts. I agreew with your point though, that members with higher posts should be entitled to a little higher earnings because they've proven that they're "loyal" to the site, if you know what I mean, and that they've made an effort to actually stay and be active, and not just register, make a couple of posts, and leave when they see that the earnings are low as I see a number of people doing. So, I would suggest a method that rasises earnings of members with more posts that somehow also looks at the quality and length of the contributions they made to the site. I don't know how this can be done, but I think that it's a very good idea if it could be made that members that stayed on the site for longer and contributed more were allowed to earn a little more than they already to, especially if they've proven consistent efforts. Good idea though, and I would definitely like to see a similar action to take place here if possible somehow to encourage more posting.

Hello mate, There's no limit to how much we can expect and earn here at mylot. But, the idea of the website is to help the users share their knowledge/experience with thousands of others. Mylot is not meant for spamming and making a fortune out of it.yeah, everyone likes to have more and more money, including me, but I think mylot is doing just fine now. We get paid for quality responses, that's the best thing about it :)

I agree when we posts for 100 we get some bonus. Maybe cent or dollar. Then our account will grow up. Maybe from mylot management will repond it.
