The World Bank will soon release the official report about the scandal on the different projects with anomaly in the country. Actually it already leaked on media and I already seen it on the news. Some known politicians are involved and even the first gentleman was mentioned. Will the Ombudsman bite their own BOSS? What will happen now if World Bank will not fund all the projects involving the improvement of different institution of the country? I am really sad about this.

So sad, really... Those are donations - from other peoples' money - for the improvement of our country. But it's really unthinkable for others to took advantage of this funds. It is even more disheartening because many of our officials came automatically defensive. Because they are part of the gang? Why are they demanding WB to submit their findings? WB is not a judicial entity. It did it's own investigation to protect its interest. It has the right to protect its informants. Isn't the government supposed to follow the lead and does its own investigation? But what are our officials doing? Are they the only people in the country who don't know that DPWH is one of the most corrupt institutions in the country?

hi there, bleuken.. it's good to know that you're concerned. well, there really comes a time when the corrupt ("evil") men just have to be busted out, game over. no secrets will forever be kept hidden. actually, NOTHING is ever hidden from the eyes of our Creator. If the Philippines has to suffer because of the selfishness, the greed, the corruption of some of our government officials, then so be it. God has allowed certain people to occupy certain top positions and He also expects highly of them. now if those people in authority would use their position, power and influence for 'wrongdoing,' they are accountable (held liable) before God first and foremost and God will surely make them pay for whatever injustice and/or oppression they have caused towards their subordinates. GOD is in control and there is nothing too big for Him. He is a God of order and of peace. He is faithful, even when we are faithless. He is merciful but He is also just. He disciplines those whom He loves. He knows everything, sees everything and even way before we were born, HE IS. may we always remember that. happy myLotting!
