I get tired of always cooking the same old things over and over but I also work so I have very little time for long drawn out meal preps, so I am always looking for something quick, easy and tasty to change up the old faithfuls. So, ladies and gents, have any quick fix meals you want to share with your fellow cooks here on myLot? Here's one of my kids' favorite breakfast quick fixes: Breakfast Pinwheels: Tube of crescent rolls Shredded Cheese (whatever you favorite flavor is, I use Cheddar) Browned and drained breakfast meat (I've used bacon and sausage, but I'm sure ham would work too) Scrambled Eggs (optional, my hubby likes it but I don't) Pre-heat the oven according to the crescent roll tube directions. Unroll crescent rolls but make sure to keep them in rectangles. Press the seams together to make solid rectangles (you should have four). layer on all the other ingredients and roll up the now loaded crescent rolls so that they form a jelly roll type log. You can chill for a few minutes so that they slice easier. Slice into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick pinwheels. Place on greased cookie sheet (I know the package for the cresent rolls probably does not call for this but because of the cheese they will stick if you don't grease the pan). Bake according to directions until golden brown. Serve with fresh fruit or juice. This also reheats very well. So, now it's your turn.....what would you like to share

I like fast quick and easy meals myself, and make them most of the time.. Here's one that's easy for ya... Easy Bacon Cheeseburger Pie 1 to 1 1/2 lbs of lean grond beef. 1 package bacon, flavor of your choice. 1 to 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese (add more if you like and I use cheddar, mozzeralla and provalone.) 1/2 cup Bisquick (Original) 1 cup milk 2 eggs Heat oven to 400. In skillet, brown ground beef, season to taste, and drain excess grease. Add ground beef to bottom of greased pie pan, sprinke and layer your cheeses over beef. (leaving some cheese for later use if you want to) In another bow, add milk, eggs and bisquick, whisk together and pour over beef and cheeses.. Put in oven for 25 minutes or until knife inserted in middle and comes out clean. Add remaining cheeses after about 10 minutes of baking if you want the extra cheese appeal. You can also add your favorite veggies of choice to this, I would recommend lettuces though. It serves a good helping for 6 people.

Shoot, I forgot to put the bacon on this lol... Cook bacon, to desired crispiness... drain, and crumble over beef, before adding cheese... LOL

For dinner try a really easy stir fry! Just get some cooked chicken, some frozen veggies (thaw them out first), a can of baby corn or water chestnuts and some stir fry sauce at the store. Heat everything up in a big skillet and then add the sauce. I usually finish mine off with a handfull of cashews or peanuts, and I rarely order out for Chinese anymore! Thanks for sharing your ideas, too! Enjoy!
