slumdog millionaire!!!

i too watched the film along with friends..it was a great movie and i am really touched by the story.the background was good,but i won't say ,it is rehman's best..i happy that t got nominated for oscar...i am keeping fingures crossed for winning the oscar awards..i am proud to be an indian..happy myloting and have a nice day...

Very good movie indeed.. awesome direction by boyle!! as usual great work by maestro a.r rahman.. really very good acting by the actors. I watched it thrice. there is a controversy as well,as it showed the negative side of our India.but the story requires it.. applause to the team jai ho!!!

I still haven't seen it I wanted to when I saw Dev Patel in the trailer, even though I didn't get much information from the trailer regarding what the story was. Then I saw a thing on the IMDb where Stephen King was listing the ten best movies of 2008, in his opinion, and Slumdog Millionaire was on his list (fourth, I think), so that was a huge vote of confidence. THEN I saw Dev Patel on Letterman talking about the movie and they showed a couple of clips and it looked really good. The problem is between Thanksgiving and the second week of January, I don't get a single full paycheck from work because we take so much time off for holidays so this week is the first week I will have some disposable cash... Maybe I'll go this weekend.

Hi Prithvi, you are wrong the movie has got 10 Oscar nominations.Out of that three is for A.R.Rahman,the music director.The movie has got 4 Golden globe Awards already.I have seen the movie and I am not able to digest that the movie has ended.The characters Jamal,Salim and Latika were pretty excellent.Isn't it? The movie was opted for Oscar nominations only since it was directed by Danny Boyle, a foreign director.I totally disappointed with this.Good movies in other languages should also be taken for Oscar nominations. You know one thing before the release of the movie, no distributors came forward to buy the movie.Finally the director and his crew decided to release the movie in CDs and DVDs.The film got world's attention only when it bagged golden globe awards. I hope it will get atleast one Oscar and I wish a good luck too Thanks for posting Happy myloting

hi i have seen the slumdog millionaire movie a few days back and it is worth watching movie..this movie is pictured in realistic conditions that is happening in our society....the performance of actors is amazing and direction,music is wonderful..the movie has got 10 nominations for Oscar so i am keeping my fingures crossed to get an award....
