Crystal Clear Pepsi

As a child, I loved Crystal Clear Pepsi. I know that it was only Pepsi without any caramel coloring, but it was just so different to drink a soda that didn't taste like its color, you know? What do you guys remember about Crystal Clear Pepsi? Like it or hate it?

I remember Crystal Clear Pepsi. I also remember that it didn't taste anything like Pepsi or any cola for that matter to me. I tasted like melon. Cantaloupe actually. I didn't really like it. I think I only tried it the one time. For the person who asked about when it came out, that was, what, the mid-80's I think?

and welcome to Mylot and i hope that you enjoy it around here as well. and i do not remember at all Crystal Clear Pepsi. i have never heard of that before. when was the Crystal Clear Pepsi around? thanks so much for sharing this information about the Crystal Clear Pepsi with all of us around here at Mylot. so what did the pepsi taste like? i cannot imagine a soda that is clear like that unless that it is a 7-Up or a Sprite or a soft drink that is supposed to be clear. lol
