Always include vegetables in the sandwich, and add fruit for dessert. Make sure that whatever you pack for your son is nutritious. He's going to be away from home for a few hours and you might as well be sure he's getting the right nutrients.

joemel up there has a wonderful ideas on what to put inside the lunch box of your child. i can suggest egg sandwich too. boil the egg and when it is hard boiled already take off the shell. mashed it with a fork put mayonaise and put salt and pepper to taste. spread in on the bread put lettuce and there it goes. you can even tell your child to help you prepare it. you can put it inside the fridge and use it again. you can also buy some cup cakes and cookies. i miss the times when i need to prepare foods for toodlers. my children are all teens now. i have four

It depends on what your child likes. Most kids here in the US take a sandwich of some sort...peanut butter and jelly or lunchmeat...a fruit cup, apple, bag of chips and some kind of a drink. They also have hot lunches here that come with a main dish, a fruit, a vegetable and a drink. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**
