How can i get traffic to my blog?

Friends! one of my friend refer some forums site to get traffic to my blog! that means, participate in every posts and paste my link there! i think this is a good idea. but it will take a lot of time to me! i can't spend time in another websites!
so friends! are you know any traffic websites? if the only answer is forum, please refer a good site!
how are you getting traffic to your sites? thanks!

I have started creating new blog. I am having same problem like you. I suggest you to for pinging of your blog. By pinging your blog you can get traffic. But I am not sure whether it works or not. use autopinger.com for pinging at a time.. if you know more about this share your knowledge with me.
