you actually gain more wight by starving yourself. your body feeds off the fat in your body (which you need)because it thinks that you are in famine and as soon as you eat something else ( even something 100% healty) your body will store it all as fat. You gain 3x more thatn what you weighed before. My advice, watch your caloric intake and exersice. thats all it takes. dont eat more thatn 2000 calories in one day. 35,000 calories is 1 pound of fat.

Starvation is not the answer. You need to just do portion control and make sure you get an accurate amount of excercise and it should come off on its own. I had discovered I was having trouble losing after having my 2nd child and for me it was a medical reason. So go in and get yourself a good physical and talk to your dr and see what they recomend. Since you want to lose a great amount I would do it with the help of a physician

Loosing weight does make us more good looking in some cases, but I think if you use starvation methode it will harm you in long run, you knew your body need those vitamins, minerals etc from food we eaten. If you still in teenagehood it will harm you at 25 ages..... Perhaps you could tryin my methode, beside doing more sport you could do Food Combining, it's great diet, I don't feel starving, I could still eat steak, chicken etc etc and still gain weight loss about 6-7 lbs a week Basically Food Combining methode is, do not mixing carbohydrat with animal fat and mix the animal fat with vegetables and change our breakfast with fruit juices. For example Breakfast: Fruits juice, anykind except bananas, drink it sip by sip till 11.30 Lunch: at 12 and above, Carbohydrat with protein nabati Dinner: Animal fat with vegetable ex: Steak with large portion of vegetables and no potatoes Hope this helps:)

No you are not doing the right thing. For one it's very unhealthy. You may loose weight but once you start eating again you're body will store all that you are eating for fear of not getting anything else. So it may work in the short run but in the long run it's not going to work. You need to find a healthy way to lose weight. Make an appointment with your doctor and he or she will be able to help you.

Of course, there are so many different programs and HEALTHY ways to lose weight. If you starve yourself, you WILL gain it back. I am currently doing Weight Watchers. We have men and women in my group from age 16 to 75. For me, it works. I've lost 25 pounds so far, and love being able to eat normal food. It is the only program that has shown any long term success. My Dr was the one who suggested it to me. I also have Kaiser for health insurance, and they subsidize the cost. Find yourself a program, and preferably one with a support group. The depression will sabotage your weight loss efforts, and being able to talk with others in the same position really helps with that.

Starving yourself is not a good way to loose weight and you are going ot make yourself very sick. Once you loose the weight and start eating again, you will gain all the weight back even faster. Plus starving yourself works for awhile but you will reach a point where you will stop loosing weight and your body will start to turn on itself looking for the nutrients that you are not providing it. You are better off controlling what you eat, portion size, and exercising. That is the only healthy way to loose weight and keep it off.

You have to find something that makes you feel good about yourself. Then start the diet! But not by starving yourself, that doesn't work on the long run. Sure, you'll lose weight by not eating, it's normal, but it is very dangerous for your body as well as your mind! Besides, the moment you think you've lost enough weight and decide not to take it any farther, you will gain even more then had lost! Trust me on that, I tried starvation, it doesn't pay! You should try working out; running is always good! Try changing WHAT you eat, rather then how much. You'll be ok if realize what's truly important! :)

No, no, this is not the way. You are causing your body more harm than it will be able to handle in the long run. You will eat and gain twice the weight back this way as well. You can do see a doctor and they can set you up on a diet that will work best for your blood, body, and daily habit type. When you dont eat your body loses important key elements to help you do normal things, like walking. It also causes your stomach to eat its self for lack of having anything to digest or to change into energy for your body to function. So I would recommend that you go see a doctor and start eatting.

Hey if you need to lose more then 100 talk to a Dr. But I know that you need to eat. That is how we all work. Food to us is like gas in a car. So please EAT! Dont hurt yourself. Also drink water and lots of it. Please dont fall into the diet pill thing. I did it once and it just hurt me more then anything! Here start a plan. In the morning eat a good healthy breakfast. If there is time go for a brisk walk. THen for lunch and dinner eat well again! Put a work out in there tho... I do Taebo... it works... I use to weigh 196 and now I am 125. I also found the pilates helps too, my aches are not as bad. If you can find abuddy who can help you out! Really do it the right way. It is a total cahnge in your lifestyle. I never made that change so I battle with gaining all the time... I just lost some from me gaining. But I do not want to give up my McDonalds or even candy! But really just try your hardest to do it the right way!

When you starve yourself your body turns what you have left into fat. There no good thing about starvation and eventually youll end up with a bloated belly anyway from doing this. Weightwatchers worked wonders for me. Did you try that?

yea i just had a baby and have been trying to loose the weight its getting depressing but starving yourself doesnt seem quite like the righ tthing to be doing because when you dont eat after a while your body starts eating away at your muscles

Starvation will harm your body in the long run. You might want to look into Medifast. Their website is www.medifast1.com. It really worked for me.
