Which do you prefer : Paypal, Alertpay, eGold or other virtual payment methods ?

I never use my Credit Card balance (even though it's attached to my Paypal account) for purchasing things online, for a security reason. I'm prefering using a virtual payments methods such as : Paypal, Alertpay, egold, Liberty Reserve and etc. I have two account for my virtual payments. One account in Paypal and the other one in Alertpay. But I prefer using Paypal as my virtual payments, because it is more safer than Alertpay. Paypal direct withdrawal to bank account also accepted in my country, while Alertpay charge is too much for bankwire withdrawal. Paypal also more accepted for purchasing things online. I'm using my Alertpay for receiving payment from my PTC's sites and currently investing the money through Neobux, I will withdraw my profit from renting referral there in my Paypal. This way I got my virtual money into my bank account, with no charge from Paypal (for $ 150 and more). As for the amount below $ 150, Paypal will charge about $ 1.4, in my opinion this is a low charge. How about you, what virtual payments method do you prefer Friends ?

I depend on paypal only because in my country we can transfer money in the paypal to bank accounts. paypal is the safest way to use for online payments. Alertpay is also nice it is not accepted by all the banks and all the merchants.

I Prefer Paypal coz it been so long on internet and prefer by most user(even thought sometime has problem especially when dealing with the person/company/service that u buy/purchase)and i only has 3 time problem so far only compare to egold . I will not use alertpay and never coz their interface look ugly and not professional and this make me feel unsafe and unsecured, it will be better if their improve their interface to web2.0 style. I also prefer www.moneybookers.com, it new but it good as paypal but the problem is not major/many company/person accept it

I prefer to use paypal as well. I think the fees are less and I trust the site more. I haven't had any issues with the others but I guess paypal is more accepted and been around longer. I don't really even use the other two for anything other than receiving some payments for on line stuff that I do. Paypal is how I buy and sell most of my stuff.

Hi Mscott, Paypal is the most secure virtual payment right now. I'm glad that you don't have any problem with your Paypal.

So far i like paypal more, it is very easy to transfer money from my local bank account to my paypal account. And it is safe too. I have no troubles about it, even i have alertpay and moneybookers account, i still use paypal for it is more convinient for me. I suggest you use bank account that is more applicable and convinient to you so you will never regret using it. Happy mylotting.

I like Paypal because it is recognized worldwide and doesn't allow scamsites. I also like alertpay because they help you get your refunds. They have a good costumer support. The other ones I don't know about them coz most of them are not strict. They are used by scam sites in HYIPs. But for shopping I can always rely to paypal. Actually Paypal's service fee is quite low and it's safe anyways and you know your Credit card and money are safe.

I like paypal as it is widely used around the world for many things. More and more companies are turning to paypal. Alertpay is great. I was worried over the verifying of the account but found it as a smooth process. But all I am going to use alertpay for is investing in sites that support both alertpay and paypal like neobux, and isabelmarco.

I have only used paypal out of all these websites so I would have to say that paypal is the one I prefer. It's done a very good job with my online transactions and I saw my payments deposited into my bank account on my statement. Paypal is a very reliable website for me and probably many others.
