Associated contents - can someone tell me about the site? any members here?

I have just signed up for a review site called Associated contents on the recommendation of someone , who I am not able to contact. Can someone plz tell me how this site works?
Is it like the other review sites? or is it like Helium where you get paid only after you earn a star? What i mean is that while ciao pays you as and when you post and rate , does this site also pay in a similar manner or is it any different?
Is it a good site for earning?
I will be glad if someone tells me all about this site ..

AC is a very good site for article writers. Unfortunately, the current program could work fully only for USA-based members. The upfront fees are only for USA members and if you are not in USA then you are only entitled for the page per views rate.
I, myself is very interested with AC and that is why I am looking for an honest USA-based submitter for my articles.
I am hoping to find somebody in USA who could help me on this regard. I will surely share the income out of the project.
