New season of Dexter?

Will there be a new episodes of Dexter? If yes when? Someone may know? For almost 9 weeks to be made. I can not find anywhere nowhere substantiated information to continue. Can anybody tell when will be new?

I just read that the new season begins production in "early 2009", which means it may have already started, and would be aired in "late 2009", whatever that means! I saw the first season when CBS aired it last year so I'm going to get the DVD to see the second season if it's not rerun and I was hoping Showtime would be rerunning the third season before the new one starts so I can get caught up. I have finished all episode of season 5. Dexter is my all time favorite show which is about serial killer. I mostly watch it online from http://downloaddexterepisodes.edogo.com/

there will be new episodes of dexter when it start i don,t know that but they have been showing the new shows.

that is just what i've been wondering. i guess also, im going to have to watch it DVD as we no longer have HBO
