Do You Know The Moon Dances.................

This is dedicated to my favorite moonbeam and perhaps only she will understand completely the metaphors. I only hope that those of you who read it will, appreciate our own Moondancer a little more, if my words are eloquent enough.............. Once upon a soft and silky night I glanced heavenwards, along the path of a moonbeam. The mist along the river of my life was now gentle, and shimmering pearly white. But here and there darker strands of pain and strife slipped in and out of that moonbeam, though it remained steadfast and unwavering under my gaze. As my eyes reached the sky I saw the moon, and she danced for me in silver splendor, and raised my heart right out of my breast. I felt a release within. A strange uncoiling of my self imposed isolation. For this moonbeam was not a part of the mist of my life. How it had found me I do not know. How it had so quietly slipped into my gaze, didn't leave me wondering. It made the moon dance for me and that was reason enough. Like two parallel universes blending into one, I knew; that moonbeam belonged inside the mist of my life, and I welcomed it with soaring heart and loving gaze. Even when the moon wanes and disappears, that moonbeam remains, to share it's soft strength, to keep my gaze travelling upwards to the stars and into dreams. And when the moon waxes into being again I am there, waiting, because I know that it will dance for me, down that moonbeam into my soul and into my no longer isolated heart.

Hi sparky, Oh, that was so beautiful and will never be alone each time you see the moonbeam and she will dance for you always, because she is a powerful lady and her energy is so stronge, so take her energy in you and you will be strong. Love and hugs. Tamara xxxx

What a lovely tribute to Moondancer! I wonder how many people really do understand the power of the moon. How beautiful she is, how energizing and yet calming she is?

I love the Moon and your description of the mists and moonbeam are so real. In reality... the Moon does dance in the sky. It did so when I was watching the total eclipse. When it had turned to its bronze colour it stood out more as a 3D planet and it actually danced about in the sky as though it was on a piece of elastic. I've never noticed that when the Moon has been bright. So, you're right... the Moon dances! Brightest Blessings, my friend.

Yes, there's no end to the magick of the Moon, my friend. I study it quite often and am amazed at the different aspects there are to it. How romantic was that of your hubby!!!

I've always been into nature both organic and elemental, and to find a man who shared that was a blessing on me I think. I remember once he took me out to a lake near our former home and it put us smack in the eye of an incredible thunder storm. The rain and lightening and thunder went on and on around us, but our vehicle was in a 'bubble' of still air and no rain fell on us at all. It was the most exhilarating experience. All the powers of the heavens unleashing themselves around us, while we remained untouched. To watch a storm from the inside.......it was downright spiritual.

'Muna'. I love that. So evocative of the 'mother/luna' connection. You have a budding poet there I think TL!

How beautiful sparks....you have the real poetic type touch in you. I think many of us who are so inclined are very much affected by the moon, and want to also dance under the moonbeam when the moon is full...then again....LOL...the full moon can often make us a tad crazy..LOL Moondancer is indeed one of my friends here too and she is a wonderfully sensitive and caring person...What you have written is truly a wonderful tribute to her

I like it! It speaks to the me inside of me. The one that's always there. Perhaps that me is my moonbeam, showing itself when I most need a little light in the darkness I sometimes tread. The bright light of day can make troubles seem small, but it's in the darkness that they are magnified, distorted and become monstrous, needing that little moonbeam to quieten them and put them back into perspective.
