People are strange sometimes

We go to a dance club that usually has the same couple hundred people, more or less. For the past several years, I would greet and hug many of them but within the last three or four weeks, I started NOT hugging some of them. As a matter of fact, there are some I don't even say hello to anymore. They know me at the end of the night, when they're three sheets to the wind, but not when they are bright eyed and sober, I find that strange and disturbing. Worst of all, they'll even ask if we're having an "after" party at our house. Let's see .... if I was having a party afterwards, at my house, I'm willing to bet I would invite everyone I know and know one who doesn't know me -- when they're sober. I don't have after parties so it's not even something I have to worry about. Who in their right mind still wants to go out and party at 3 in the morning, after dancing all night?
