Hi There!!! My worst job was my first job after I graduated from college. My friend and I got accepted in a shoe factory business being a programmer. So we thought! We were informed that we will create or enhance their system using Foxpro program when the supervisor explained our job description. We were so happy and started to get ready to start programming but to my surprise, she informed us the first day of work that for now, they want us to be an encoder for few days. We agreed since we were new but to my surprise and dismay, we realized that we will not going to be a programmer there but just an encoder with minimum salary. Not just that, I was forced to make be an accountant to compute our payroll for the company then they want me to help them fix the room etc… it is like I am a secretary. My friend and I didn’t like the job so after 2 weeks, I made a resignation letter and passed it right away. That is the worst job for me because it doesn’t have uniformity of what you really need to do and I feel that we are going to lose our confidence and skills there if we stayed there even for a month! I am so relief to be out of there the earliest! Thank you for the discussion. Happy Mylotting and have a great day ahead. Cheers!

yes its really bad for that company. and honestly those kind of stuff really exist in our society right now.. they will hire you for that particular position then later on you will just know that you are all around, even map the floor, clean the whole office.. thats grrrrrr!!!

I decided to spend summer trying to earn some money before hitting college and worked as a saleslady in a small optical shop 2 years ago. Those days were the most boring days of my life ever. That's because we barely had customer! Usually only 3 or 4 a day! We'd be lucky if we had more 5! Seriously! So imagine standing in a corner from 9-5 waiting for some customer to come in and pretend you're doing something productive while the boss is around. Once, i even fell asleep. I didn't notice the boss was staring at me! Luckily, he was in a good mood that time! LOL! I couldn't stand working that way so i quit after a week! I told my boss and he gave me a well-what-else-is-new? look and gave me my salary. I went to work in a beauty salon instead, it was much better because customers are flocking in and my co-workers were crazy! I had fun working there! Well oh well, so much for that summer job of a fun-driven girl who can't stay in a very organized work-environment! LOL!
