Are you really here for the money? How much do you expect to make?

Having come across this site a couple of days ago, I was surprised to see how many people are concerned about the money they get to be here. I just jumped right in and joined the discussions, not knowing we got paid for it until well into the day. Here's the question, is that why you are here and if so, don't you think there are better ways to make money? For the pennies made here, I don't even care about it, I'm just having fun with the discussions and meeting new people. How about you?

I am standing on two sides of the line here. If this site actually pays out even the small amount it says it will, then this will be helpful. I mean, having an extra ten dollars a month is better than not having an extra ten dollars a month. However, even if we did not get paid, I think I would be just as active in seeking out good conversations with interesting people as I am now. It's a really interesting place with a lot of different viewpoints, and it also seems to be a pretty respectable community. Basically, it's a good enough place to exist even without the promise of payment.

Here here! Great points. Of course every little bit helps, but I am curious. When you go to the discussion board do you scroll through until you find something of interest or just jump on one on the first page. I personally scroll through the pages and find interesting ones, so I'm just curious if others do the same?

I actually usually try to find at least one question on the first page that I can give an elaborate answer on. Sometimes, though, the good discussions are hard to find. In those cases, I'll scroll through a bit.

Very true, but if you want to make extra money there are better ways that are almost as easy. PM me if you would like an example.

I also have other discussion sites, but this one is the most fun. I think because the discussion board moves so fast. On the other sites you can go back a couple of days later and not much has changed. Here it is only a matter of seconds!

I am here for both, I like to post and make new friends and hey a little extra bucks doesn't hurt either. I am almost to my payout of $10 in just a week today that I joined.

Good for you. It's always nice to know that people enjoy being here not just for the money. You must be very busy here to make $10 in one week!

Its nice to earn money whilst giving your opinion on various topics. I enjoy reading everyone's comments and it's nice to meet people from all over the world.

The thought of a website like this was enticing, hence the reason I originally came. A site that would pay its users just for partaking in the site. But the earnings are so little, like you said pennies really. But then I got hooked. I like it here. I find people interesting and I tend to use my brain a lot here...Frequently it gets me in trouble.

Sorry to hear you lost your job, that's rough. There seems to be a lot of that going around, which is why I started working at home part time, in case something happens to my current job I will still have an income. When the part time income is enough I can quit my other job. If you would like to know how I do it just PM me.
