when they show you how the eliminated contestants look today, they say "contestant has lost so and so pounds" and they show b4 and after picts, do they mean how much weight they lost since being eliminated or since they joined biggest loser??

I believe it's since they joined the biggest loser. If they were counting from the time they left the ranch, then I think it would be changed to "So and so has lost an additional 50 pounds" or something like that. Sometimes the contestants themselves will say, "Since I was eliminated, I've lost another 30 pounds." Then the number you see is the total amount of weight they have lost since they started the Biggest Loser.

Most of the time they will show you how much they have lost since leaving the Ranch along with the Total weight loss. Most of the time you might have to sometimes also read some of the print underneath to see some of this, but if you listen closely most of them do reveal this information for you.

I would think that it means the amount of weight the person has lost since they came onto the show. I don't know that Dan would have lost 110 since he got home becuase he would have been quite a bit smaller than he was when he came on the show. He lost like 60 pounds, or something like that while he was on the show.
