I never made any hand-made gift for anybody but I had some of them from friends. I have them on our wedding; it was a hand-made framed wall decor and another is a hand made framed poem personally written by the giver. I appreciate them both.

One mothers day i did that. I wanted to be creative. SO i made a hanging wall plank kind of thing that said granma on it. It was a gift from my son to my mom.

Yup.. A few Christmases ago, I made anklets and bracelets for my friends and family. I think they quite liked it. :)

I once made a collage on the computer with many many pictures and I printed it on an A2 paper (quite big) for a friend's anniversary. He liked it very much :) I think hand made gifts are more appreciated than something expensive. Ok not very expensive :P
