Birthday gift for a "like-a-father"

I have a biological father whom I have lived with most of my life - and who still provides for me - but I also have a "second father" who has been everything a father should be and more for the last 10 years of my life. Anyway, his birthday is this Saturday and I am lost for what to do for him. 1. I don't have any money so if it costs me more than $5-10 I can't do it. 2. In past years I have already made a video for him, gathered a collection of autographs from his favorite authors, started him in a writing journal the past 8 years, etc etc. Every year I try to do something better but this year I am stumped and very much running out of time. It is hard to even find a card for a relationship like this. Anyone have any quick ideas for what to do for him for his birthday?!

..well, for me, you could try to make a scrap book out of scrap papers.. then you put there the precious memories that you have had with him.. It won't cost you a lot because the materials that you need can be recycled.. you just need to bring out your creativity.. and at least, that has a sentimental value.. I think your second father will be glad.. or maybe you could also try making a birthday card out of recycled materials.. It actually depends on how you are going to do it..

Wow, that's actually a really good idea! I could use like old e-mails and cards and stuff he has sent me...good thinking...I like that...I'm going to look and see what I have to work with...

Hey one time he wrote me this really nice note on toilet paper and left it for me. So I took that and what you said and decided to get a roll of toilet paper and write on each square something that he has done for me that I appreciate - then I will roll it back up and give it to him! So far I have like 50 something squares! lol
