My fiance is a clean freak! It has it's goods and bads. Sometimes he is scrubbing the carpet at 2 am and I can't see any spots. He helps to cook too. He has to help more since I work and go to school, but really, he likes it.

When my son was first born, I realized as time went by that my husband did not help very much with chores. Nor with the baby. I would have to watch our son sometimes days at a time, without help... I told him about 5 months ago that I needed more help and that's when he made a schedule of when he'd help with the baby. Well, that worked for a little bit. Then I told him I needed help with chores, and he decided he'd take over my jobs... What I really wanted was that he would do the things I didn't want to do... Just recently I've been telling him I need help with our son... And he's made a complete turnaround and has started helping more.

I cant say he really helps with chores around the house, but he watches the kids on saturdays. And cooks once in a while. But i dont remember the last time he did dishes or laundry.

My other half helps out quite often around the house! I know that he respects me & knows that I have a lot on my plate to do when he is away at work. My other half goes to the store for us quite often, & even does grocery shopping for us every two weeks. As he know's I can't do it all & that if I had to do grocery shopping on top of everything else that I do.. That it would be to much on my shoulders.. So it's nice that he is willing to do that for us.. It really does help out a great deal.. As well when I am not feeling well or am not up to making supper.. He will come home & cook supper for us.. He as well will make our bed, & help me clean the bedroom as well.. He also takes the garbage out.. There are to many other things to mention but that is what he does a large majority of the time.. I mean there has been a few times that I have to ask him to do things but he doesn't throw a fit when I ask him to do these things.. He is willing to cooperate & get to them as soon as he possibly can.. I am very grateful to have someone like him as apart of my life.. I don't know I've always found that a man's willingness to help around the house is a true sign of whether or not he respects the women he is with.. And I find I have this when it comes to my other half.. In which I find I am very grateful for! . .
