hello,my lotters! When i was a child ,i have no idea about how important the money was in our daily life. However,i lived happily. When i grew up ,i learned that i could do nothing without money. The people around me all worked hard for it,some of them even had a high-paying job,IMO it's pity they never stoped to enjoy life.It seems as if money will never be enough for them.Nowaday,i need to find a job to make a living by myself. But i dont want to become a workaholic and, lose much fun in life.Yeah, life is not easy.Have you met the similar problem with me?or does money seem like never enough to you?? =) waiting for your response

actually, by now, my elder son and i, feels the need to get some employment once again. having been used to working at the farm for so many years now, we just couldn't look forward to bein a mere employee anymore. nonetheless, i still feel blessed that whereas others find it so difficult to find a job, it has always been quite easy for us. perhaps our qualifications work well in the city environment. the sad part though is, we feel that the pay will always be inadequate. life here in the city is very expensive. actually, we feel this way mainly because, we are renting an apartment. the amount that goes to the rent, light and water is a considerable amount already. we are hoping that we will be able to go back to our homeplace sooner than 2012. it is projected that by this year my youngest child shall have substantially recoverd his health already. i hope that his development will be faster so we can be home by next year or january of 2011.

Before, I don't see money as my life because I was still a student. When I need to buy something I just need to asked my father to buy it for me then I get the things I want. But since when I got into college, everything had changed. I met so many poor people and all of them value the money so much as if they can't live in this world without holding or having money in their pocket.. From being an active member in one of the organization in our school, I realized that money is really important and no matter how we think that we can live without money still there are only few ways you can live and there are so many reasons for you not to live.. When our family had undergo a financial problem that's the only time I realize on how to value money.. So, I always wish to have so much money so that our problems will be gone and to be able to maintain our family just like before.. Money is the one who gives life to each one of us. Yes, we can somehow live with a few money inside our pocket for as long as you were living far from the city and having your own crops or farm.. However, if you are living in the city you always need to have a money because when you don't have a money then you were nothing. You will die because of hunger, nobody will help you even the government.. Nowadays, there are billion of people living in this world who are poor and because of this many countries get a lot of problem with no proper solution.. Everything that is happening in our world right now its all because of money..Problem always start with money aside from love life of course.. As of now, I'm always thinking on how to earn money so that I can help my family in their problems.. But no matter how I want to earn money I'm not workaholic since even i keep on working 24 hours a day in our company, they still pay me the same.. Online are the only income that I have aside from my job.. Well, as of now I'm not enjoying my life the way I want because I'm stranded in a place of no where.. Even though I'm not happy, I'm trying to be happy so that at least my life would be colorful even in denial..

I feel that in life, money can never be enough nowadays... the price of everything is increasing, yet our salaries still remain at the same, or even lower, because of the bad economy now. I believe as we grow older, there would be more and more commitments, and with that, I believe that we keep trying to work harder, to earn that desired amount back.

I have always maintained the belief that more money and material wealth will by no means bring about true happiness, however, it certainly makes for a more pleasurable form of misery. I cannot remember who said that, but I saw it quoted somewhere. My profession and love of my life (dance) happens to be expensive. However, as long as I can afford to keep doing what I love at the level I love doing it at, then I would not mind living very modestly. One of my heroes, recording artist Garth Brooks, once said "You ain't rich until you've found something money can't buy," and I agree that there are other things in life that I want to preserve and enjoy and continue pursuing, and would never put these things second in my life just for the sake of more money. Being fabulously wealthy would not be worth it to me if it meant giving up the things that have always given me true pleasure in my life. I think the real challenge is achieving a balance between "making a living" and making life - a living of course being how much money you make and whether it's enough to support yourself with minimal struggles, and life being the freedom to control your own destiny and live your own dreams.

hi billy, glad to see your post here, and get so many response. i I just talked to you through MSN and remember that you were a member here. so I come around to see what you post here. In your eyes, those people seems busy in working and earning money, never stop to enjoy life. But to them, maybe working is one of the most happies thing to do. They make endeavor and obtain achievement. So different people has different way of enjoying life. To me, without enough money, you can not really enjoy your life. You can not buy items that you want, or you can not even please your girlfriend by buying something she like, you can not afford fees in traveling, a house to live in .... To much things require you to have enough money.

When is money ever enough to a person ? When you have this much, you will want to have more. When you have more, you will want to have even more. So, it's basically a question of what is the expectation of each individual on how much is enough and how much is not.

Yeah, you understood my question so clear, but you didnt say how much money was enough of your expectation. What does role the money play in your life?? or have you thought this problem before? thanks for your response

not really... i try to be content and sufficient with what God had given to me and my hubby... we just want to be able to live comfortably... enough to wear, eat, drink, live and still have a little bit of saving plus extra money for entertainment... that's all... we never want to be really rich and greedy... take care and have a nice day...
• China

Yeah,Linli,I cant agree with you more.I like your answer. Many people forget to enjoy the life, what they are always thinking is how to earn more money, however ,in fact ,we dont need that much. God bless you!!

I think money can never be enough for anyone. I always feel that the more you earn the more you want to spend. THe spending can never end so to meet the both ends you need to earn more and more.

hi billy...when i made $20,000 a year the most i ever made, i was pretty comfortable. people around me made more and had more and did more things but i was okay. now i have a nicer job but make around $7800 an year. i'm crawling financially but still glad to have a job and getting by. i truly need more money now and don't think i'm greedy or mishandling it. but the job i have is more tolerable and that helps me health wise. but in answer to your question my $20,000 job seemed enough for me.

Hi,greenlitterturtle! If $20,000 a year is enough for you, that will be quite enough for me too.I mean, there is much money for where i am living.Even though it just made you feel pretty comfortable ,that figure of money would absolutely change my life huge.Erm...Where is wrong? It must be caused by the difference between countries, such as economic,population...thanks for your response =)

Yeah because there's a lot of things out there that you want but you don't have enough money too be able to get it. Money seems like it's more not real to me though then never enough because money comes and goes so easily and it really just is green pieces of paper. Isn't weird?

Yeah,it is weird. There are lots of things you want ,however,in fact, just a little part of them belong to you. What is more,We cant have whatever we want even though u have much money. Thanks for your response

Hi! You know what, even though I'm a student right now but all I'm thinking is about money. I love money a lot because i can buy what i want and what i need. At this age(18), my parents told me and my older brothers that we must be practical enough in using our money because it is really hard to find. We cannot just simply get money from the streets were walking. It really needs hardships to gain it, but just a simple advise, work as long as you can but give time for recreation. Spend some of your free time going to malls, bar hopping, out of towns for quite some times for you to be relax and chill for a little while. :D

I think money will never be enough for me in my mind, the fact will show us: When I earn 3000RMB per month ,I have never stopped complaining the lack of money ,and I have a lot of things to buy which is much more expensive for me. And suddenly,I lost my job ,no income, the life should be harder and harder ,i begin to miss the days when I can earn money. And slowly ,i accepted the truth, the life becomes happier~~surely ,at this time ,i need more money than before,it is still not enough. Fortunately,I have just gotten a new job,and i am sure the money will still be not enough, but ,anyway ,the life should be happy! In a word ,money will never be enough for any of us in my mind.

Hi!Yeah, when we didnt have a bike,we wanted a bike. However, when we got a bike,we wanted a car...I agree with most part of what you said except the last conclusion sentence.I think using "most of us" instead of "any of us" would be better. =)

Well money is a real important factor in once life.. I am a full time account manager..who works for my family having 5 kids and my husband with no work. I multi-task on paid sites as well on the net. Money for me is very important because I feed 7 people at home including myself. I put to school 5 kids and I pay for all the bills and loans... Life is real hard for me that I need to get more money in. I don't go out or buy stuffs for myself..I don't enjoy life much but this is what I got myself into. It's my life and I have to live with it. I can have fun with my family and I'd rather spend for them than myself.

i am a workaholic, billy. but it is not because, i never feel contentment about what i manage to earn. it just so happens that i love to keep on working and working. this routine though was immensely changed when my children came into my life one by one. i had to give up my job at the onset of my first child because, she gets very sickly whenever it is not i who is taking care of her. once i stopped working, that's when financial difficulties was tremendously experienced by the family. my husband (no longer at this time) was such an irresponsible creature. time came when i had to give up life in this city and relocated to my hometown. it is good that i did so. there, life is much more manageable for a single parent to raise kids.

I think the more you earn, the more you tend to spend too. And my answer is definitely yes, money seems like never enough for me. Before my salary is pretty low and I can hardly save anything. I've got a job that pays better and my salary was three times my previous job was but still not much changes when it comes to savings.

There are times when money isn't enough. But most of the time, I feel we have just enough. I'm not really into spending, so when all our bills have been paid, I just leave the money in the bank. I always think about next month. What if there won't be enough? I'm happy enough on those times that there is some left after we have paid all the bills. It makes me feel secured when we have a little bit left in the bank.

Hmm well everyone needs money in their life to survive. But it is also risky to our life because as we know when we are starting for a new job we feel that even a penny salaried job is also enough to survive in life. After we get into a job we feel safe for sometime and we ourselves increases our needs beyond our limit and then still we expect more and more in our life, so we opt for a new job or hike to get more money. So everyone should feel that money is not only a matter of our life, its just a part and rest we have many things to watch eand enjoy. so we need to keep our limits in a circle and enjoy with what we have in our hand.

I have this feeling. When we are earning more, the living cost is climbing fast. What most concerns me is the uncertainty of medical care, esp. for the aged people. And the high educational expenses are unbelievable. I do not want to see my grandson curbed from adequate schooling for lack of money. We can live frugally to shrink our expense, but the macro environment is beyond our control. Although pension and deposit sufficient for my life, the above potential needs still keep me uneasy.
