Do you allow you kids to be in the room with you while you are on the Internet?

My kids are usually off playing in their room or in some other part of the house. They are always welcome to see what daddy is working on the computer though, as I don't have anything to hide from them. I don't go to places that are only for my eyes only, that's a bunch of nonsense, in my opinion. I do however, do not allow them to read what I am typing/writing on mylot. I do however allow them to comment on photos of other people on the Gather; that way they get to see me type what they say or comment about. What about you are some websites off limits to you kids and only meant for "mommy or daddy's eyes only?

My kids are always in the room while I am on the computer. I don't ever do anything that they shouldn't see and the volume is always off, or almost always. We usually end up watching some videos about robots because that is what they are into right now. Haven't ever had any problems with them seeing anything I don't think is appropriate.

I do allow my grandsons to be in the room with me, one at a time, because the playstation is in my bedroom. I really dont' go to websites that they can't see since I spend most of my computer time trying to earn money instead of looking at naughty stuff. I don't like them to read what I'm writing either because I feel that is my personal business. I can't let my youngest grandson come into the room with me because he won't leave me alone, he is on the autism spectrum. So he only gets to come in when I am not on the computer so I can interact with him one on one.

When I am on the computer my kids are usually in and out of the room. I believe just like you, they are welcome to come in as I also do not have anything to hide. I'm not the kind of person to be looking at anything offensive anyways. My kids usually know though when I'm online it's because I'm working so they usually are reading a book or playing at that time and don't really care to see what I'm doing on the computer. It's boring to them, as they say, lol.

Although I don't have kids I am more cautious about what I do when my niece and nephew are over. I don't go to adult only sites so that's not an issue but I also don't work on MyLot of go image surfing for wallpapers or anything when they are here just b/c I can't be sure what is going to pop up on the screen. We mostly check their email, play games and watch YouTube video's together b/c I always supervise them when they are online. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

My kids are allowed to be in the room too. I don't go to any sites that they would not be able to see.
