I do not have a sweet tooth so I definitely would want flowers. Then I could put it in a vase in my room and have a look at it for 3-4 days.

Hello bubbletush! Good day! Flowers for valentines is the best, because we've grown up knowing that flowers is one of the symbols of great affection and love. But just be careful with the color of the flowers. :) I do not want to have chocolates because it makes me fat! =)) Even if its delicious and yummy!! Happy mylotting!

oh yeah the colors of the flowers have different meanings, right? (although i'm not very familiar with them) but i do really love white or pink tulips.

Of course, flowers. That's what I gift my wife every year on valentine day. But that's just one thing. We eat out and have fun together.

There are times when the typical norm just won't cut it for a gift. I can understand why you wouldn't want candy...but whenever I got flowers, the man always questioned me if I liked them or not. Actually, flowers not only brightens up my day, it lights up the room and makes it smell nice. Another gift that would be lovely would be a gift card. For one thing, it takes an effort from the other person to know what kind of stores you'd want to shop at and then on top of that, to actually go and get it. Then that way you can be the final say as to what you'd want for his money. *Pleiades

I am not really fond of receiving material gifts from my boyfriend. One time, he gave me a bouquet of white roses during our 1st anniversary (a month ago) and it withered. I think having him this valentine is enough for me.

I like gifts that come from the heart. I think when they do something special, maybe cook a meal, or clean a room, or run an errand, things that really help. I think sometimes those things are more important then flowers, or jewelry or anything that money could buy.

those simple acts that our loved ones do are most of the time unappreciated. but come to think of it, those acts really mean so much more than chocolates and flowers :)

I like getting stuff that my boyfriend made. I find those the most thoughtful, and I'm always really happy to get them. I'm not a big chocolate or flower person. Although I do appreciate it and am happy when I get those. But I find a card or picture of him and I the most thoughtful.
