Is the reason the UK is in such a state down to femanist views?

Im a strong believer that femanism has done most of the damage to the UK starting from the 60s to the point now where the country is pretty much in self-destruct mode. Whats your views?

I can't speak for the UK but I do believe it's damaged women in America and done more harm then good. I feel that here it's led women to be pulled in too many directions to the point that some women feel they should be a man. I think we should celebrate our womanhood, and not try to disguise it, or become some how androgenous. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but I feel at times pressured in our society that I'm some how not to supposed to fully female.

I think the problem has come about due to women pushing for freedom and now feeling that if they were more female they would be giving up some of that freedom.. Problem is I live out in the Philippines and generally there are a lot of guys that have moved here because things have become too biast, such things as divorce etc. I also believe it can damage economies by adjusting some regulations to allow women to enter jobs that are male dominated, dont get me wrong I dont think women should be excluded but I think if a job description dictates a certain criteria man or woman should have to abide by it not adjust it. Because in a lot of cases especially if manual labour is involved the average female would find this role difficult on a daily basis.

I think there has to be a balance somewhere along the line but problem is the people with the narrow views shout the loudest. I cant see anything wrong with someone who wants to be a housewife the problem thats created now is for a stable life style in the UK for example both adults need to work just to have a basic life. Problem this throws up is people have moved from family values to chasing the money..which is why we are seeing teenagers in such a mess these days and its getting worse.

The point you make about labour industry is rubbish. I have worked with women in a labour intensive workplace (tree felling) and there is no difference in performance that would warrant their exclusion from such professions.

You have your own belief.. but at the end of the day male body structure is built differently. Now if you also take into account things such as a court case that gave Women Police Officers the "Night Shift" bonus allowance which is £500 per month yet none of them worked on night shift because it was Un-family friendly hours. The problem with what has happend is femanism has picked at what it wants and causes more problems that its worth. Am i being unfair? I dont think so ive had 50% of my work force being female and I had several occassions where im seen as being "Unfair" because i treat people as equals. If people want equality then take it but dont complain about it when your expected to carry out exactly that..
