Is it acceptable to hate?

I find myself with a most uncomfortable feeling of what I can only find to describe as "hatred" for a particular person. I don't like it, but don't know that there is anything to be done about it. Is this wrong? Does everyone have feelings of hatred for or about someone else?

That's my trouble. I've always truly believed that, but this person has no redeeming qualities that I can find, and tries to suck the life out of everyone she meets. My feelings are definitely bothering me....
