Movie comes out today

Confessions of A Shopaholic finally hits movie theatres today. I know it doesn't stay true to the book so it should be interesting to see what new trouble Rebecca gets into on the big screen. And it's been awhile since the last book in the series was released. It will be nice to catch up with her again, even if she's a bit different than the book. I'm going in with an open mind, knowing it doesn't follow the book, but I'm at least hoping they stay true to the character so many of us have come to love over the years. Is anyone else planning on seeing the movie?

I absolutely love this series and love Sophie Kinsella as an author. I really hated to hear that they changed the movie around to suit them. I won't go see the movie in the theatre but I'll rent it once it comes out on DVD. If you go see it, let me know how it was!

Even though they switched it around and made some changes, I still liked the movie. I went in knowing there would be changes and I think that helped. Makes me want to start reading the series all over again!

Hey Reesers~! I have never read the books so I am not really familiar with the charachter of Rebecca but I would love to get to know her! I am going to see the movie because I am a Shopaholic myself! I am very curious to see what this movie is all about! I will probably watch it on the Internet as soon as someone puts a copy of it online! I'll let you know how I liked it!

Rebecca is pretty funny. She's always getting into trouble and it's interesting to see how she gets herself out of various situations.

I have it added to my netflix account and will get it as soon as it comes out on DVD. Unless i find a babysitter i wont be seeing this one at the theater lol. Never read the book maybe i will get it before it comes out on DVD.

If you're like many of us, you'll be hooked! Confessions of A Shopaholic is only the first book in a series. Right now there's five of them and there might be another on the way.

Hi there! I saw Confessions of a shopaholic a few weeks ago in the cinema and believe me its really a great movie. I love the author, Sophie Kinsella and I believe shes a really great writer and of course I love the series books. I nearly have all shopaholic books i think. by any chance has anyone of you read Can you keep a secret? Its one of my favourite books and its written by sophie kinsella as well. I wish that was a movie, its great!
