I searched everywhere but couldn't find it anywhere. I managed to get it on Channel 5 and then I had to go up down to 1 or up to 71, the channels I use. Then it got on channel 700 and I moved it down as far as I could like to 100. However it won't move back to the channels I like. I rang a television installer. I told me to search the make of the television and to find a compatible remote for it on line. I was delighted when the new remote control arrived. I put batteries in it and it worked straight away. I am so pleased. Have you ever lost anything in your home? If so what did you do about it?

Oh bless your heart! I have lost the TV Remote before & omg! I hated it! But it made me think how spoiled we are in this time! I actually found my remote though a few days later... my daughter actually had put it in her clothes drawer!!!!! I happen to run across it as I was putting clothes away... By the way, did you ever find yours? LOL!

I have lost the remote to the tv alot. We usually find it in the creases of the couch somewhere though. I lost my cell phone once and and of course it was turned off so I couldn't just call it to find it I think I found it several months later after buying a new phone.

And is the original remote still missing? lol. I would be curious as to where it went, my friend. Did you try down the side of the chair or back of the sofa? Those places seem to swallow things up. It's good that you have a new one though. How long did it take to come after ordering online? I've always managed to find things I've lost. They don't hide for long because I'm a very determined person! lol. Brightest Blessings.

Losing the remote control can be a difficult thing... especially if there are children in the house... in my case... i did not lose it... but it got broken... and i was only able to have it fixed after like weeks... i thought of buying a new one... but when i got to the cable company office... i saw that they offer to fix broken remote controls... and the price was quite cheap...

Glad you got your problem sorted out. I've lost my wedding ring a couple of times, in our bedroom putting hand cream on, I was frantic, but I always fine it. Now I leave it on

I HATE it when I lose the remote. It drives me batty. Especially the remote for the DVD player, because I have to get in the floor and try to use the tiny buttons on the player. With the TV, I just get up and turn the channel manually. But I have to have micro vision to see the things on the DVD player! But what bugs me most is when I lose one of my medications. I keep them in one place, but sometimes I forget to put one back when I have taken it. So I go around trying to find where I put it, and even though I don't have much at all in my apartment, it still seems to take me forever to find it.

maximax8, I have never lost a remote control so far, but I did have the inconvenience of holding and operating several control gadgets to operate my various home entertainment and electrical appliances. Since the arrival of Universal Remote Control, I find myself using this Universal Remote Control as I literally have quite a bit of consoles at home besides the television i.e. home theater system, sound audio system, cable television decoder box and etc.. So, instead of having a spread of controls and looking for them for the various operation of what I want it is all learned into one control. Very handy indeed. You may want to consider using this handy tool for your home. You may want to consider this good and handy tool for a change. I am quite sure you will be able to appreciate and enjoy this wonderful invention. Cheers.
