What's The Meaning of Our Stars?

Hi my lotters!
I'm newbie in mylot. I do not know the meaning of our stars. Why some people get more stars but their posting are less than the other? Is it important for us to have more stars, and how to do it? what about best response, if I get a best response, what the meaning for me? Can this two have a result for our earnings? I do not know about mylot at all.

The star represents how you are rated on myLot. The more that you post the more that your star goes up.. If for any reason it goes down, it comes from someone rating you negatively.. I am unsure if it has anything to do with your earnings.. That would be a question to ask myLot webmaster. The higher it goes that means that your posting was rated by myLotter's.. Which is a good thing.. Just think of it this way, low, means bad, high, means good.. But your rating is subject to change..
