All alone...On a Valentine's Day

When you're single, it seems great. I love being single too. But when it comes to Valentine's Day or Christmas, I feel left out. Other may too. How do your Valentine's Day (or Christmas) Day go if you're single? Is it lonely or happy?

I'm not big on Valentine's Day regardless. It's too commercial. If I love someone shouldn't I be showing them nearly every day how much I love and care for them? And celebrate that feeling whenever we can? Why do we need a commercial holiday to tell us so? I'm single on V-day for the first time in looong time and I think I like it better. I mean, I can do whatever I want today with no expectations. I'm not "required" for lack of a better term to do anything. Maybe that's a typical male response but it's how I see it anyway.

I feel the same way as you every year. I don't really get to do anything during Valentine's Day and sometimes feel a little lonely, but I try to get over it. Other than that I am pleased with my life and try to go forward with it. Anyways, Happy Valentine's to you.

very boring, I would like going to work rather than resting at home on Valentine's Day!
