when is best time to take dietary supplements/ vit and minerals?

It is better to take vitamins in the morning where we get to do all our activities too so that our vitamin will go hand in hand the way it suppose to help our body. I always take multivitamin in the morning, not at night when our body is suppose to relax, sleep and rejuvenate itself from a hectic schedule. I think you will agree along with me since vitamins, when taken properly and with doctor's prescription will aid a lot for a healthy lifestyle.

im taking my vitamins now after dinner.i used to take it every morning after breakfast but sometimes when i skip breakfast i forgot to take my vitamins too.and there are times i can't remember if i already take my vitamins or not and the least i do, i'll just take it the next day so i will not repeat taking it.thats why i take my supplement now after dinner or before bedtime:)

It also depends on the type and the strength of the vitamin and how much of a particular vitamin or mineral or any other supplement that your body is lacking. Unfortunetly most vitamins are excreted by our body systems before they have any real chance of doing anything and absorbing into our system at a cellular level. With the vitamins I take, they are formulated at a lower dose and are to be taken 3 times a day. I have experienced awesome results with my overall well being and health. Instead of taking a vitamin and having 20% of the nutrients be absorbed in the small intestine and then quickly passed into the large intestine to get ready for a swim with the fishes. As to what time you take your vitamins? Well, how fast is your metabolism, what do you eat with them, how is your general health, how much daily activity do you usually get...I could go on and on. I guess it just boils down to experimentation with the vitamins you take compared to mine. I am sure that you will find a happy medium. Good Luck :)

It all depends on how often that you need to take them. It is better to take them at night, if you have to take them once a day. That way, your body is working very hard to complete the effectiveness of the vitamin. But in the morning is a really good time to, if you have multiple vitamins to take. Orange juice is better absorbed during this time. It helps the vitamin to work better.
