Still I prefer an experienced veteran politician to run the country as long as he has good record in his former positions with the government. He's qualified and not too old maybe. He's not corrupt with good values and has fear in God. For a young talented but less in experience, I would prefer him to be the vice president, anyway he's still young and his experience being the vice president would make him a good president. How about you friends, who would you prefer?

It is hard to say. Many people voted for Obama because he was a young and telented yet inexperienced candidate for President but it was a breath of fresh air for many people. Many people were against the Republicans because they thought that Bush did a horrible job as President for 8 years even though I disagree. In my opinion, I would agree with you. I would rather have an Experienced Veteran Politician rather than a young person with no prior experience in this field.

later I realized this discussion can be in general, I was thinking of the Philippines politics as there would be presidential election in 2010, but I do appreciate your response. Yes really it depends on one's opinion others would vote for a new comer for a change...thanks for the response...

I would prefer someone with more experience and a track record. Talent is subjective and easy to fake.
