trip to hongkong or car?? which of which??

I'm so confused right now. What shall I choose between the two? Which is the best among them?

If I were you I would choose the car, A trip to Hong Kong is just for awhile but a car would last you years. Plus if you get smart and study hard a few years from now you can get a job and save up money for a trip maybe you can even go around the world.

Well princess, if the issue is the cost of the gift the car would really seem expensive but it is for a long term use and it is also an investment at the same time. About asking permission on how you can ask your parents for which ever gift you like would depend on some things.
Can your parents afford the car or the trip? if you think that they can only afford to give you a trip to hongkong then go for the trip but if they can afford the car I suggest you go for the car.
Have you been a good girl? This is important when asking something from parents, because this will help you in asking for what you want.
Tell your parents why you need what you want (car or hongkong trip). You have to give a good answer on this. you just need to justify it to them.

One is an experience and the other is a possession. The trip to Hong Kong will be a one time thing but your expenses will be only during your stay there. The car will be with you for a longer while (not forever) but you will be spending on gas, maintenence, repairs, etc. for that same period. You are the best judge to decide which of the two is better - a short term excitement or a long term liability.

You got it now. See,eventually its you who has to decide what advantages and disadvantages there might be from each of your choices - and you've got to weigh them in and chose one. Its best to list them out and check the cost effectiveness and long term advantages and disadvantages there are are.

To hongkong certainly! you can buy your car when you have enough money, and you can still live well without a car. But tripe to where you interested is depends on many factors. Maybe, when you have money, you haven't time.When you have time, you haven't mood. Moreover, tripe to hongkong is easier to come ture than buy a car!

If I was in your situation I would choose to go to Hong Kong and have an amazing trip seeing all the wonderful sights. I went there and had the most amazing time staying at the youth hostel on top of Mount Davis. I loved riding on the trams, seeing the beautiful harbor and going shopping.
However I know that you are keen to have a car. It would need fuel quite often and it would need insurance. It would give you freedom of going out where you feel comfortable driving. I suggest that it might be better for you to have a car in a few years time when you have more money. Whichever you choose you will be happy I am sure. Good luck.

Better choose the car! It cost more than a trip to Hong Kong. And you can use the car for years. Traveling to Hong Kong would only take you days to enjoy but the car, you would enjoy it everyday and until the succeeding years. Go for the car. It is much valuable than going to Hong Kong. And besides air fares now are cheap so just save money for your trip and take the car instead. Have a great day!

go for the car girl! the hong kong trip is much cheaper and you can go to HK anytime but the car is more expensive, if i were you i'll tell my parents "mom, dad, i prefer the car because it is much more practical than the hong kong trip" and my parents are practical too so may be they will give me the car LOL

Hey there! The car is the one you should choose. A trip to Hong Kong will only last for about a week or two. But a car can last for long time. You can use it to go to places you wanna go to. If you wanna experience some Chinese stuff you can go to a near China town in your place. You can even use the car to go there. A trip to Hong Kong can wait. You can still save money for it.

I agree with zenki. You could use the car and sell it if you could afford to buy a newer one. You can save for a trip to Hongkong later. Go for the more expensive one. lol
