My son loves to swim a lot...

My 5 year old son really loves water. He likes to swim a lot and likes to play with water a lot. Well, he also likes to go fishing. I really don't know what makes him like it. Maybe he likes the coolness of water. Do you have a child? What does he like doing most?

I think most children really wants to swim and play in the water. May it be in the sea or in the pool. My son has also not participated in any contest. He just loves to swim for fun. Maybe later on your daughter would be interested in formal swimming contest. But the point is to let here enjoy and have fun. It is different when we force them to such things.

I don't have a child. But I do love swimming :D I can swim everyday if I could. Sadly, since I started working in a different province, I no longer have access to my grandma's swimming pool. Also, even if there is a pool in my place, I don't think I'd have enough energy to swim after a full day at work.

Hi there oyenkai, I do love swimming too. I think that there is always in us that loves swimming. It does bring a lot of benefits. Sadly we are all occupied with our work and activities and will not be able to do much what we wanted for fun. But this is life.... What is important is we enjoy each moment. Best to you always.

When my daughter was 5 like your son, she also loved playing in the water. I think she learned to swim then. Her love of water continued through the years. She was also very musical and artistic.

My younger brother likes swimming a lot. That was reinforced when he enrolled in a swimming lesson when he was 9.
I think kids are always drawn towards liking water except for some who are extra scared.

My children like to go swimming in the pool in the summer. They also like to go to the beach and they go fishing. Swimming is a lot of fun for children and its good exercise too.
