Do you hide money from your husband or wife?

I've just finished reading a book entitled "How to hide money from your husband and other time honored ways to build a nest egg". It was very interesting with stories of dozens of women who had been left high and dry by their husbands leaving with no warnings after hiding all their own money to keep the wife from getting any. The warning in this book seemed to be that no matter how much you love and trust your husband if you are smart you will keep a little money back each week and put it in your own savings account for a rainy day. Do any of you do that? If so how much and how do you keep your spouse form finding out. Do you have any tips on how to get money to go in your savings account? And if you and your spouse make it to growing old together will you still hide the money or will you take him/her to Eurpoe for you 50th anniversary?

No, I have never hide money from my spouse and never think about it, though I will appreciate if my wife take some money from my pocket and save it without my knowledge, just for saving purpose so that money can be used in times of need
