Obama is very popular in the Philippines

I just don't understand why Obama is so popular in the Philippines. There are T-shirts with Obama's picture and they are sell like hot cake. What I mean is many people buy it. There was a man who looks like Obama and he became popular too he even was offered a commercial on TV? is that true? how many Filipinos are here and had seen this man on TV commercial who looks like Obama?
Just curious to hear your story.

Of Obama is popular in the Philippines, much more in United States. Well, it is not surprising why he is popular because he is now the President of the United States one of the leading country in the world and Obviously, that is the very reason of his popularity.

I think, you are right!!! much more now that many people have complains about his laws.. that makes him more popular hahahaha..
