Do you use travel agency? Or do you book online for travel package?

I used to use travel agencies, however, now I found that they are not necessarily cheaper, therefore, I am booking online directly through some airline's promotions now! I think it's more convenient and trustworthy that way.

I do not use travel agencies. I suppose it's because I don't travel that much. lol But, like you, when I travel, I book my reservations online.

Right now some really good airlines are offering special deals. So it is wise to decide on the destination then compare a number of different airlines. I think some travel agents have pricey flights so the deal is more expensive very often. I looked at the fares to Cape Town and found a decent fare from my local airport to Cape Town via Amsterdam. The flight times however were not appealing for my toddler son. I thought it would be better if we went to the largest airport in my home country. Two airlines that I like had the same fares. So I decided on my third favorite airline that I have been on so far. We had a superb flight after a delay of more than five hours. That was due to fog. Coming home the journey was perfect, with no delay. One time I booked directly with an airline, going to New Zealand, and it gave me some excellent stopovers in the South Pacific. For an around the world ticket a specialist budget minded travel agent can help. I am an experienced independent traveler.
