I have a really bad habit of running away from responsibilities, be at home or office. No I am not a bad husband or a bad son or a bad employee. In fact my wife loves me a lot, my parents are always there for me and I am the most productive person in my team and very popular among my teammates. This is because I know my negative aspect of me. I try to work on it. I want to completely come over it. Can you suggest a way out? Do you have a bad habit? Have you tried to come over it?

The only way out, is to own up to your responsibilites. And to be there more than you are being. You want to do this, so that you will have it easy for you and for others.. There will not be so many complications.. I have a bad habit of getting my clothes out on the day that I have to go somewhere.. I am really working on ironing my clothes at night so that, by the next day everything will be done. It will save me the rush rush feeling..

I can somehow relate to that. I have this weird habit of avoiding anything that entails too much responsibility. This is actually my way of defending myself from too much possible negative outcome that might affect my ego. Now I'm thinking that this has become a habit of mine because I seem to continually reject any possible threat to my being. It's also healthy in a way, but at times I think I'm missing really great opportunities because of it. Having said this, I guess I need to be more gutsy. I think knowing the reason behind your running away from responsibility is a good start. Goodluck to you..
