Cure for the cold/flue?

I've got it bad. I cough and sneeze and my whole body aches. I have tried alcohol, cough mixtures, tea, coffee & loads of water. I just can't get rid of it. I have some experience about rooibos tea and that worked for a while. Cola or Pepsi is something i also have heard worked. I have a gig next week and should be rehearsing not lying in my bed. Any miracle cures out there?
