Is it hard to learn how to work on Autocad?

It seems to me that Autocad is the most used 3d business softwares but it seems that you have to learn basics of 3d modelling before you touch this software. How long does it takes before you learn how to design house, building or other useful object with this software?

No . Learning Autocad is very easy. I feel it's most easy software to learn reason being whatver you speak can be type as command like line, circle etc. Most user friendly. My suggestion is first learn 2D Autocad then learning 3D is 1 weeks job if you are able to visualize the thing that you need tomodel in 3D All the best Tom www.indovance.com

For start I will use bCad. I think it is easier to work in. Later I will probably be prepared for Autocad.

autocad is really a good software and i had learnt it in my engineering . i know it takes time to learn complete autocad but once you learn it becomes easy , it is not only the autocad but all things which ever we learn becomes easier.

But I don't get it. There is just a few shapes that you can draw and they are really simple and with those shapes or 3D objects people are modeling complicated buildings and tasks.
