I have back when i was a kid. It used to my hideout whenever i'm mad at my parents and i want them looking for me. Lol! The roof was thick with dried mango leaves and some bullet caps and fireworks' parts. Have you been on the roof of your house?

I have back when i was a kid. It used to be my hideout whenever i'm mad at my parents and i want them looking for me. Lol! Yeah, yeah, me too! LOL. There's a bathroom window that leads to a roof of another portion of our house. The window is actually the passageway. As a kid I've always imagined it as a portal to another world. One time, I even threatened my parents that I would run away because I was "tampo", lol, so I packed my bags and climbed up to the roof. But I eventually "went home" because I got all soaked up when it rained. And besides, I didn't bring food along with me.Hehe.

OA and drama but.....cute! I mean looking back? It really makes me laugh at how silly being a kid used to be.

Yes. That's one of my favorite places in our house. I like to stay it there as long as it would be too hot on the roof. I like it there because I can see all over my neighborhood houses and everything around seeing from above he he he How I wish I could turn back those childhood days of mine..

Never. I am just too afraid to be on a higher ground. I would just start to panic. When I was a kid, all my cousins and friends would climb the trees and I was always that one who stays behind. However, I became their catcher whenever they drop the fruits and I was good at it. He he he!

Hello modstar! I did one time. When we haven't moved yet from our first house, my friends and siblings usually went to the roof to get some guava fruits. Sometimes we just sit there and talk especially when it's 5 in the afternoon already and we played some barbie dolls. Sometimes, my mom would scold us because they're not comfortable if we are there. But we are hard - headed..hehehe(you know children are)

My first year wedding anniversary is coming up next month, but before I met my husband I used to do all the maintenance work on my house. I live in a 3 story house, not including the basement. I had to climb up a shaky 100 foot ladder to get to the roof and fix a leaking roof tile. It was scary going up, and I had to keep from looking down. By the time I finished, and slowly worked my way down the ladder, I was shaling like a leaf. Needless to say, I go up there as little as possible, and am happy my husband does it now although he's petrified of heights.

I love the roof of my house! I live in Mexico and my 2nd story roof is flat. When I go up there I feel like I can see the whole world. I live close to the beach and when I'm on the roof I can see the Gulf of Mexico and the lagoon. Next I want to put a palapa and a hammock up there and swing in the breeze.

That's a good experience. Too bad i can't do it on our roof because we live along the road and it's too dusty.

I've been on my Grandma's roof and the roof of the home I grew up in. It actually wasn't that scary. Now my Grandma's roof is a different story.

I have never been on the roof of my house, I have no reason to, however I did go near the roof to help my uncle add wiring to the satellite dish so I had a good view of the roof then lol.

well, i live in an apartement so, i didn`t was on the roof. It`s so high.. My ex-girlfriend used to climb on the house and go to the roof. There she was everytime we fight or she fight with anybody. She was so difficult, but it`s so good when all passed now. I`m not scared of high but i don`t like roofs, because you can easily get dawn immediatly without your wish.

I tried except the last 3 houses where I lived because the roof was so high and I can't find a way to get on top.But there's this one house where my aunt and I always sit on the roof and look at the other houses nearby.Actually she's doing it because her crush lived nearby.LOL!

lol! Well it's best if you can't find the way to get on top than not being able to find your way down, like what happened to my brother which took him hours to figure it out. lol!

When I was a kid, I used to climb out of my bedroom window and sit on the roof over our porch. I got in lots of trouble for that! Now that I'm grown, I have been on my roof many times because I'm the one who does all the repair work. I was most recently up there to take down the Cristmas lights, but next week I have to climb up there and knock out and old chimney and then patch the whole that it will leave behind. The chimney doesn't go to anything, and it leaks anyway, so I decided to just remove it rather than continue to repair around it as I've already tried sealing it several times. I'm not too scared of heights but I am not too comfortable with very steep roof pitches. Thankfully, my roof has a fairly low pitch. I helped roof a new house once with a very steep pitch. Through the whole job I never could bring myself to stand up! I just scooted around very carefully.

Honestly, I'm afraid of heights and I my knees are always shaking whenever I see how high I am above the ground. I have climbed the roof of our house twice or thrice maybe because of my friends. The good thing about me being able to climb it is the view from the top. You can actually see the whole neighborhood. In front of our house is the basketball court, so sometimes we go up there in the roof and watch guys from there play basketball in the court...hehe...

yes when i was a child we used to go to our roof and bring all our bottle caps (tansan) and then throw it down, while my other playmates are waiting for it to fall down clamoring each one of them for the bottle caps... lol or we would bring paper planes with us, and then throw it up high... my grandpa would always get angry with me, because of it, they call me monkey.. and now that i am old with family of my own, i still go to our roof, its because my partner was not gifted of carpentry, and i am the one who knows how to hold a hammer, so i do the fixing of our roof. . sometimes we go up there in the evening if there is a full moon and just sit there looking up and enjoying the moonlight view.

it would be disastrous for me to climb our roof. It is rusty and on the brink of falling down... so I guess I made the right decision not to, hehe My father would have a heart attack if I have climbed the roof hehe.fathers.... so overly protective over little details...
