Anyone with any experience with the drug Plavix?

my dad got his brain scan back and he has had a stroke in the past year or so and his arteries are clogged 50-70% in his neck so they are putting him on plavix.. i dont know anything about this drug but from the commercials and even if you search you still dont get the info that a person with experience has.. if you have taken this please let me know of any side affects or anything off the wall i should tell him about.. you just never know with these medications!
